I go to the Quality Shop at least once every month for lunch because it is a short walk away from my school (Deering High School.) It's great! It has everything I need for lunch. I usually pick up a ham Italian and some chips for my lunch. I recommend it for lunch if you want to have a great sandwich. The only downside of Quality is that the line is usually very long; if I want to get a good spot in line I literally have to run from my class to Quality! Other than that, the service is great and fast.

Quality Shop is a Deering Center neighborhood icon, and not just for its location. For 23 years, we've been getting pizza and Italians (if you're a Mainer, you know) there, and have never been disappointed. (Once, in 2000, we got a pizza that was kind of a bummer, but I have almost forgotten and definitely forgiven that.) Lately, the food has just been getting better, the DESSERTS are huge and delicious, and the folks there recognize and like my dog. Oh, the coffee "bar" is also awesome. In short, Quality is just what every neighborhood needs.

The Quality shop has one of my favorite chicken salad sandwiches in Portland. The staff has always been great anytime I've gone in there. They also have one of the best brownies you could ever have. I'm not sure what they do to the brownie, but it's amazing just to be fully transparent. I'm not a big fan of any other pizza or Hot top items that sit out. Overall great little convenience store to grab a sandwich.

The Quality Shop is a truly spectacular convenience store. Not only do they have a swell selection of beer, wine, chips, and soft drinks, but they serve an assortment of sandwiches and hot food. On Sundays you can get two small pizzas for $6.99 each! On Saturdays you can get a large Italian sub for $5.99. What more could you ask for? Oh, that's right. Everyone is so friendly. It's the perfect spot. 8 out of 5 stars.

The Quality Shop is a reliable neighborhood corner store that has been serving the neighborhood for years! They always have breakfast sandwiched out hot and ready in the morning and an excellent selection of Green Mountain Coffees I am fond of their Maine "Italian" sandwiches (a large veggie sub is still under $7!), their big inexpensive pizza slices, and their giant cookies and brownies out on the counter for the after school crowd.

One of the better local sandwich shops in the area. The Italians are great combination of salty, wet, and chewy. If you think about the Maine Italian has got to be one of the weirdest sandwiches but it works! Not only good sandwiches but good pizza. Sunday they offer but one get one free on the smalls which for two people is a good deal. The baked goods are stellar there as well. Good Whoopi pies, cookies and other baked items. Solid beers to grab and the prices are decent. Quality shop is a neighborhood institution on Stevens Ave.
